GE Healthcare has launched a new line-up of Revolution Computed Tomography (CT) systems, powered by AI-based technologies and cutting-edge hardware. As CT continues to be one of the fastest-growing modalities in the AKA region, customer demand is accelerating across both equipment and clinical applications.
Reporting to the AKA CT Modality Leader, the CT Product Sales & Applications Specialist – Malaysia plays a hybrid role, combining commercial leadership with clinical applications expertise. This role is responsible for driving market share gain, profitable growth, and clinical adoption of the CT portfolio in Malaysia. The specialist will partner with Zone (Malaysia) Account Managers to deliver on territory targets for Orders, Sales, Contribution Margin (CM), and Market Share, while also supporting clinical workflow optimization, training, and customer satisfaction.
Serve as a CT product subject-matter expert and technical liaison to the sales organization.
Drive the go-to-market strategy for the CT portfolio, including product positioning, catalog activation, pricing, and pilot site support.
Deliver high-impact customer presentations that articulate CT value propositions.
Provide competitive intelligence and develop defensive/persuasive collaterals for sales teams.
Break into academic and strategic accounts by demonstrating technology leadership.
Own product marketing activities for Malaysia.
Act as the clinical applications lead for CT, supporting pre-sales demonstrations, post-sales training, and workflow consultations.
Conduct on-site clinical training for Radiologists, Technologists, and CT Radiographers to ensure optimal use of GE CT systems.
Collaborate with hospitals to optimize scanning protocols, reduce dose, and improve throughput.
Partner with Clinical Marketing and Education teams to generate relevant clinical evidence and segment-specific programs.
Support clinical evaluations, pilot installations, and reference site development.
Advise and influence CT tender technical specifications by consulting hospital stakeholders (Radiologists, BME, Technologists).
Identify and resolve customer satisfaction issues, assist in escalations, and support specialty training requests.
Build and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and reference sites in the territory.
Provide ongoing product and technical support to PSS, Zone Leaders, Account Managers, and channel partners.
Deliver continuous sales and clinical training to internal teams and channel partners.
Collect and share competitive intelligence for effective objection handling.
Support catalog activation and product launches with clinical insights and training materials.
Degree in Radiography, Medical Imaging, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of CT clinical experience.
Strong knowledge of CT imaging platforms.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel extensively for on-site support.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and imaging software.
A can-do attitude, flexible, intellectually curious, and willing to work with a cross-functional, global team.
Able to give presentations and deliver materials with skill, confidence, and credibility.
