Own and lead complete product costing for packaging technologies across multiple plants.
Create and standardize costing models including BOM, routing, machine-hour rates, material yield, overheads, and manpower costing.
Support commercial teams with new product costing, margin simulations, and customer pricing decisions.
Conduct periodic reviews, ensuring accuracy and transparency of product cost structures.
Identify cost improvement opportunities across operations and supply chain.
Implement a structured capex review and approval framework.
Validate all capex proposals including ROI, payback, scenario modelling, and risk assessment.
Monitor all project progress: spend vs approvals, timelines, benefits realization.
Ensure strict adherence to financial discipline and audit requirements.
Build and operate the business analytics function covering MIS, dashboards, production KPIs, margin trends, and financial insights.
Use AI and automation tools to enhance data modelling, predictive analysis, and business insight generation.
Present clear recommendations to the Finance Manager and Malaysia leadership team.
Lead analytics projects including profitability reviews, cost trends, and efficiency studies.
Establish all processes, SOPs, templates, dashboards, and governance for the new department.
Build and mentor a small team as the function expands.
Develop strong internal partnerships with ops, engineering, sales, and supply chain.
Drive speed, accuracy, digitization, and continuous improvement.
Chartered Accountant (CPA / ACCA / ICAEW) — mandatory.
7–12 years of experience in manufacturing finance, with strong costing exposure.
SAP experience is essential— candidates must have hands‑on SAP exposure in costing, finance, or analytics modules.
Strong financial modelling, capex evaluation, and business partnering skills.
Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is an advantage.
Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multi-site complexity.
