Overview

Position for Construction Division (Site Based) with locations including Kapar Selangor, Johor Bahru, Penang Islands/Mainland, and Klang Valley. The role focuses on monitoring and administering contracts and sub-contract works, managing project documentation, and ensuring effective cost control and progress tracking for construction projects.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and administer various contracts and sub-contract works, including preparing progress reports, recommending payments, issuing variation order certificates, and finalizing accounts documentation.
  • Verify material requisitions, take-off quantities, and site measurements of completed work.
  • Prepare progress claims and invoices for clients and consultants to support effective project management.
  • Prepare, call, and evaluate tenders as well as value variation orders.
  • Negotiate building and material costs with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Manage the processing of claims from consultants and subcontractors related to project matters.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
  • 4+ years of Site QS experience in the construction field.
  • Pre- & Post-contracts management experience in fast-track projects.
  • Strong knowledge in quantity take-off, site measurement, cost estimation, tender preparation, claim evaluation, variation orders, and final account settlement.
  • Tender and bidding experience in mega projects is a plus.
