Job summary

A leading construction firm in Hulu Langat, Selangor seeks a Quantity Surveyor to handle pre to post contract activities. Responsibilities include preparing breakdown costs, managing project tenders, and coordinating with site personnel. Candidates should possess a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveyor, with at least 2 years of experience. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is essential for effective communication with clients. Qualifications

• At least 2 years of working experience in a related field.
• Experience in stainless steel or metal industry is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Contract Agreement.

Responsibilities

• Handle QS job scope from pre to post contract activities.
• Prepare breakdown cost, Project Tenders, Cost and Budget Planning.
• Attend meetings for tender interviews, site valuations, negotiations.

Responsible to propose preliminary for project requirement, preparing breakdown cost, Project Tenders, Cost and Budget Planning, progress claim and final account.

To attend meeting such as tender interview, site valuation, negotiation with client or main contractor with all kind of matter related to project.

To nego pricing and awarding of sub‑contracts.

To co-ordinate with site personnel for work done status..

Requirement:

Possess Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveyor or equivalent.

At least 2 year(s) working experience in related field or experience working in stainless steel or metal industry is an advantage.

Good knowledge with Contract Agreement, Good written and verbal communication skills in English

Able to speak in Mandarin with Chinese customers.

Good problem solving skill, negotiation skills, high teamwork spirit and able to interact with project team, sub-contractor and clients.
