Overview

Commercial Executive (Quantity Surveyor) (Intermediate/Junior): Manage value for money and cost saving interior design commercial projects as well as tender projects, whilst achieving the required standards and quality. Oversee the financial contract administration throughout the course of the project. Responsible for procurement for awarded projects. Independent and requires minimum supervision in taking off, tendering, prepare preliminary costing for the project and able to do budgetary control.

Responsibilities

• Obtain for quotation, liaise and negotiate with various suppliers & sub-contractors.
• Preparation of work-order to sub-contractors.
• Handling of Variation Orders.
• Preparation of monthly progress claims to Clients.
• Other QS duties as and when assigned by superior.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor\'s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in Interior Design is required for this position.
• Knowledge in Building Contracts and good eye for details.
• Possess strong planning, interpersonal, communication, organization and negotiation skills.
• Able to work independently in fast paced working environment.
• Proficient in spoken and written English, as well as other local dialects would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Computer software such as MS Words / Excel.
