Job description

We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our dynamic team at 1 Group (Melaka) Sdn Bhd in the vibrant city of Melaka. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality culinary experiences to our guests. What you'll be doing

• Overseeing the preparation and cooking of all dishes in your assigned section of the kitchen
• Ensuring consistent quality, presentation and timely delivery of all menu items
• Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient work environment
• Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in menu development and execution
• Training and supervising junior kitchen staff to uphold our high standards
• Adhering to all health, safety and hygiene regulations
• Collaborating with the front-of-house team to provide exceptional customer service

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a reputable restaurant or hotel
• Formal culinary training or qualification in Hospitality and Tourism
• Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations and menu planning
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Passion for creating innovative, delicious dishes and delivering an exceptional dining experience
• Team player with strong communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
