A leading consultancy firm is seeking a Business Development/Business Consultant in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will engage with B2B clients, primarily Chinese-funded enterprises, to pitch solutions and close deals. Key qualifications include strong communication skills, adaptability, and ability to present business strategies. Present compelling pitches and close deals to meet sales targets.
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Upsell and cross-sell to maximize existing accounts.
Provide excellent support and elevate issues when needed.
B2B clients are all Chinese‑funded enterprises, including state‑owned enterprises, central enterprises, listed companies, and large private enterprises.
Consult with clients to understand their needs. Design the best overseas expansion solutions for clients and provide professional, high‑quality consulting services.
Able to independently present company business, create relevant PowerPoint presentations, and follow up with potential clients.
We provide accurate quotes to our clients, prepare price lists, conduct business negotiations, and follow up on contract signing and payment collection.
Assist the execution department in delivering client materials on time and resolving client issues.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply (All professional backgrounds)
At least 1 year B2B sales experience is a plus (Retail, Manufacturing, Construction, Machinery, Raw Materials, or Systems preferred)
Must be able to speak Mandarin and English (to handle Mandarin‑speaking clients)
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in Mandarin or foreign‑invested companies is an advantage
Customer‑focused with strong adaptability
