Job Description

We are looking for an Associate Import and Export (Logistics) who will manage end-to-end inbound and outbound shipments by coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and the warehouse team. The role involves ensuring compliance with customs regulations and bonded warehouse rules, maintaining organized shipment documentation, and tracking import/export costs to support accurate pricing and planning.

Import and Export Handling (Logistics)

Responsibilities
  • Manage inbound shipments end-to-end, including arranging transport, handling customs clearance, raising GRNs by coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and warehouse team.
  • Handle export shipments by working with freight forwarders to ensure goods are shipped on time.
  • Keep an organised archive of import and export documents (e.g., CIPL, K1, K2, K8).
  • Ensure compliance with import classification and bonded warehouse rules.
  • Track and report indirect import and export costs to pricing team for accurate and competitive pricing strategy.
  • Assist with planners should there be a need.
Qualifications
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Material Planning, Engineering, or related fields; SQL knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel or other similar tools.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
  • A strong sense of ownership and focus on delivering results.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across different teams and regions.
  • Knowledge of diesel engines is an added advantage.
