• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial management, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and general ledger functions.
• Experience in conducting financial analysis and implementing internal controls.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work onsite in Port Dickson and collaborate effectively with a 100-person team.

Responsibility

• Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in the budgeting process, working with department heads to develop realistic and achievable budgets, and monitor performance against budget throughout the year.
• Develop and maintain financial forecasting models to project future financial performance, identify potential risks and opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.
• Conduct variance analysis to investigate and explain deviations from budget or forecast, and recommend corrective actions to improve financial performance.
• Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data, and reconciling accounts as needed.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Support the annual audit process by preparing schedules, providing documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Utilize accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) to efficiently manage financial transactions and generate reports.
• Perform financial analysis to evaluate investment opportunities, assess the financial impact of business decisions, and provide recommendations to management.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, including preparing and filing tax returns.
