Responsibilities

  • Assist the Branch Manager in managing branch operations.
  • Ensure staff discipline and follow instructions.
  • Provide daily cash position and ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare bank adjustment statements periodically.
  • Review transaction ledgers for accuracy.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed.

Job description
  • Holds at least a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Banking, Accounting or a related qualification equivalent from an IPT and IPTS recognized by MQA.
  • Honors in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mathematics at the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia level.
  • Preference is given to candidates with at least 3 years experience in Banking Operations, Finance, Marketing, Risk Management or related fields.
  • Able to perform tasks within a set time period and can work in an environment with minimal supervision.

Field of work:

  • Responsible for assisting the Branch Manager to manage and ensure that the operation of the branch is always in order, comply with the rules that have been set from time to time and achieve the targets that have been set.
  • Responsible for helping to ensure that all staff are disciplined, follow instructions and have the initiative to always strive to develop the branch in particular and CBPin general.
  • Provide daily cash position at the branch and ensure the physical cash balance position is the same as the report in the operations division.
  • Provide bank adjustment statements on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Review the relevant reports and ensure each transaction is transferred to the correct account ledger on a daily basis for review and verification by the Branch Manager.
  • Perform other tasks as directed from time to time
