About your role

As an Area Sales Manager (Johor), you will lead and manage a team of sales representatives and Preferred Distributors within your designated region. Your primary responsibility is to drive sales growth by developing and implementing regional trade strategies, ensuring efficient trade spend, and maintaining accurate forecasts. This role is pivotal in strengthening Suntory’s presence in General Trade channels.

What You'll Do
  • Deliver Commercial Results:
    • Achieve sales targets and profit objectives for PDs and MT.
    • Ensure accurate monthly sales forecasts and healthy inventory levels.
    • Optimize trade funds and manage rebates effectively.
  • Execute Trade Strategies:
    • Coordinate promotions and display setups with internal teams and PDs.
    • Conduct weekly trade visits to monitor execution and compliance.
    • Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with PDs and top management.
  • Drive Operational Excellence:
    • Manage route planning, census checks, call cards, and chiller deployments.
    • Collaborate with demand planners and supply chain to meet KPIs.
  • Develop Talent:
    • Foster a high-performance culture and maintain strong team morale.

What You need to be successful

Education: Business graduate or equivalent. Experience: Minimum 5 years in FMCG General Trade, with proven ability to manage GT independently. Skills & Attributes:
