Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Admin cum Account Executive to join our team at Baba Products (M) Sdn Bhd', a leading company in the Food Manufacturing industry. In this full-time role based in Selayang, Selangor, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial accounting and reporting services to support the overall business objectives.

What you\'ll be doing

• To verify all Cheque Request (CR), Signing Lists containing Invoices, Credit Notes, Debit Notes, and all other supporting documents by way of 3-way matching.
• To check and verify all the journal entries, Branch petty cash reimbursement.
• Weekly Forex Rate update in SAP system, Forwarding, and trade bill posting, RM & PM bill posting.
• Reliever for the supervisor and handle the day-to-day tasks in the absence of the supervisor
• Check and verify the monthly reports for Fixed Assets, Prepayment- of M/V Insurance, Subscription, Contract, General Insurance, Staff Insurance, M/V Road Tax, Quit Rent, Assessment, Machinery Insurance, and others
• Clearing Accounts Bill Collectable, Clearing a/c, updating capital Work in progress schedule (AUC), Local and overseas Trade Creditors Aging and notes Realized Forex Gain and loss on Exchange Rate, Unrealized Forex Gain/Loss report, Down Payment Listing, and SST Reports.
• Creditors Ledger Reconciliation against Creditors monthly statement, Notes on Creditors issues, LHDN - Vendor Payment details, Trade and Non-Trade, GL checking.
• To assist the Senior AP Controller, AP Team & Group Accountant on Audit queries, Tax queries, Kastam Audits, and SST Audits related to AP.
• Posting function, Payment verification, assisting and attending to all the ad-hoc tasks assigned by Senior AP Controller & Head of Admin & Finance when required.

What we\'re looking for

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate/Degree in Finance / Accounting and equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field
• Knowledge of SAP Finance (FI) will be an added advantage
• Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Previous experience in the food industry is a plus
• Possess a positive attitude, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Languages: Proficiency in English, Bahasa Tamil, and Bahasa Malaysia
• Fluency in Tamil is required due to the need to communicate effectively with Tamil-speaking clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Working hour (5.5 days) Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm Saturday - 8am to 1pm/ 12pm to 5pm
• Must have excellent results in Mathematics will be an added advantage
