• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within the accounting and finance with Import and Export Industry.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting, tax, reporting, and analysis especially in China Industrial.
• Mandarin speaking is an advantage.

Job description

What you'll be doing

Supervise and manage the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions

Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Reconcile general ledger accounts and maintain accurate accounting records

Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Understanding of Malaysia Tax requirement and procedures

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, policies, and procedures

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Provide support and guidance to the accounting team as needed

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within the accounting and finance with Import and Export Industry

Strong understanding of financial accounting, tax, reporting, and analysis especially in China Industrial

Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office suite

Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, Mandarin speaking is advantages

Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
