A leading academic institution is seeking an Associate Professor of Computer Science in Oxford. The successful candidate will engage in original research, teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and fulfill trustee duties. The position offers a competitive salary and substantial benefits, including college housing allowance, starting on 1 September 2026. Associate Professor of Computer Science, University of Oxford. Department of Computer Science, Wolfson Building, Parks Road, Oxford. Two appointments: Associate Professor or Professor of Computer Science (with Tutorial Fellowships).
Salary on the Associate Professor Scale (plus substantial benefits including college housing allowance). Duties include original research, securing funding for the Department’s research activities, teaching and supervision for the Department and the associated College, and Trustee duties as a member of the College Governing Body.
Two full-time positions to start on 1 September 2026. Each post is associated with a Tutorial Fellowship at Brasenose College or Wadham College. All applicants will automatically be considered for both posts; please do not mention a particular college in your application.
