We have a unique opportunity for enthusiastic Band 5 Nurses with Oncology experience and valid NMC registration to join our Research Team to begin or further a career in clinical research delivery. No research experience is necessary as all training will be provided by our dedicated research education team; you will undergo a comprehensive induction and full research delivery training with ongoing training in a supportive environment. We are interested in applicants with sound clinical experience and a keen willingness to learn. We currently have a full time vacancy within our Early phase Oncology and ATIMP research nursing team.
There are approximately 300 Research Nurses, AHPs, Midwives and Clinical Trials Assistants, working together across the Trust to bring exciting research opportunities to UHS for the benefit of our patients and for the future of healthcare. The Early phase Oncology and ATIMP research nursing team provide regular contact with patients participating in research that will make a real difference to future patient care. You will join an enthusiastic, driven and caring research team to help provide support to embedded research teams across the trust and within our dedicated NIHR clinical research facility, for new and existing studies. There is no set shift rotation and the majority of the time you will work Monday to Friday 8-4pm; however flexible hours including long days, night, and weekends may be required as per study requirements.
