Job summary
A public transport company in Sefton is seeking a Scheduler to assist the Network Manager in producing schedules for multiple depots. Responsibilities include producing duties and rosters, monitoring efficiency, and assisting team members. Ideal candidates should have strong organizational and IT skills, along with the ability to work under pressure. Experience with scheduling software is advantageous.

Responsibilities
- Produce duties and rosters for Network changes.
- Ensure all data input onto scheduling system is correct.
- Monitor and report on efficiency of duties and rosters.
- Provide assistance and support to other members of the team as required.
- Assist in the production of reports and documents.

The role of the scheduler is to assist the Network Manager in producing schedules for use by multiple depots across our Network. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining duties and rosters that meet the requirements of the business and the Trade Union.
- Produce duties and rosters for Network changes
- Ensure all data input onto scheduling system is correct
- Monitor and report on efficiency of duties and rosters
- Provide assistance and support to other members of the team as required
- Assist in the production of reports and documents as required for depots and internal and external systems.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Highly numerate with good attention to detail
- Strong IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Experience using scheduling software would be advantageous
- Ability to work accurately under pressure
- Able to work on own initiative
- Good communication skills
