A local authority planning support agency is seeking a Validations Officer to join their town planning department on a 3-month rolling contract. Responsibilities include validating planning applications, maintaining statutory records, and providing customer service. Candidates should have experience in a local authority planning department and ideally hold a post-graduate degree in planning. The role offers a pay rate of £35 per hour and flexible hybrid working arrangements.
Carrington West are assisting their local authority client in the search for a Validations Officer to join their town planning department team on a 3-month rolling contract.
To apply for this role, it is essential that you have worked as a Validations Officer in a local authority planning department. The successful candidates must have good fundamental and technical knowledge and understanding.
It would be beneficial to hold a Post‑graduate degree in planning, regeneration or a related discipline, and have the eligibility for membership of RTPI.
The council is looking for candidates who will be able to hit the ground running and are offering flexible hybrid working arrangements.
