A leading logistics firm is seeking a Logistics Contract Manager to oversee a major client contract in Staffordshire. The role involves full budgetary responsibility, managing a small team, and ensuring compliance with SLAs and health & safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in logistics operations, excellent communication skills, and experience with transport management systems. Qualifications

  • Proven track record in a similar position with an understanding of commercial contracts.
  • Experience leading a team responsible for transport functions.
  • Knowledge of logistics operations including HGV fleet and distribution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full budgetary responsibility for the customer’s contract.
  • Drive development and lead the contract through required changes.
  • Ensure client SLAs are met and operational issues escalated appropriately.
  • Manage relationship with sub-contractors and oversee operational compliance.

Skills

Commercial contracts understanding
Transport regulations knowledge
Excellent communication skills
Experience with transport management systems (TMS)
