Transport Team Lead

Coleshill, Birmingham

Monday to Friday 07:00 - 17:00 Saturday 10:00 - 14:00 £34,760.44 plus £508.82 regional supplement per annum

Responsibilities
  • Coordinating, prioritising, and delegating Transport activities.
  • Management of staff hours, sickness, holidays to help ensure no detriment to operations.
  • To motivate and develop staff to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Check, load, and deliver customer orders on predetermined routes utilising Asset Tracking Devices.
  • Ensure products are transported under correct conditions, maintaining temperature, cleanliness, and security.
  • Carry out all required safety checks on your allocated vehicle and equipment.
  • In this role you will be required to stand and walk for the majority of your shift, as well as needing to be able to lift (products up to 15kg), bend, twist, kneel, and crouch.
Key Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications
  • Full Driving Licence, valid in the UK.
