Team Manager (Social Work) – Safeguarding/Families First Team – Plymouth, UK – £48 Hourly – 3 Months

We’re thrilled to present an exhilarating opportunity as a Team Manager within the Families First Children’s Service in Plymouth. This is a temporary, full-time position for an experienced professional ready to step into a vibrant role for a period of up to 3 months. As a pivotal member of the team, you will be instrumental in supporting the implementation of a new front-door safeguarding approach, ensuring children and families receive the support they need.

What you will do:

• Lead and manage the Families First Children’s Service, supporting the delivery of effective safeguarding interventions.
• Collaborate with various agencies to ensure a child-centred service based on the unique needs and views of each child.
• Coordinate the 24-hour response team to ensure concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
• Provide expert guidance and decision-making support, ensuring the right information is gathered to inform cohesive and comprehensive strategies.
• Participate in a rota providing an on-call service, ensuring round-the-clock support where necessary.
