A leading manufacturer in composites located in Ellesmere Port is seeking a Production Scheduler. The role involves creating and executing the Master Production Schedule, analyzing performance against operational KPIs, and developing capacity plans. Candidates should have an Advanced Level qualification, 1-3 years of manufacturing experience, and strong analytical skills. This position offers a dynamic work environment with significant growth opportunities.
The Production Scheduler is responsible for creating and ensuring the tactical execution of the Master Production Schedule. The Production Scheduler will confirm/create the detailed plan of the workflow, created from the Master Schedule. This includes each “Customer Product Stream” by work centre/operation, establishing the detailed manufacturing lead times required to manufacture and assemble the required components. Detailed reporting and analysis of operational performance against the Production Schedule, covering all Supply Chain milestones of supply. This analysis includes plan v actual of all stakeholder and department KPIs, involved in the successful execution of the Production Schedule, identifying and offering recommendations where required and applicable. Working with the Operations, Purchasing, and Inventory Control Team(s), the Production Scheduler will report and recommend tactical solutions of any shortages to supply/demand, due to lack of material, resource or work centre utilisation. The Production Scheduler will be responsible for creating forward looking Capacity Plans (Finite) based on demonstrated performance and known opportunities/constraints, supporting a detailed GAP analysis to the Master Schedule.
