A local school in Bicester is seeking a passionate Maths Teacher for maternity cover from February to December 2026. The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to developing students' understanding and passion for mathematics. This position may include a second in Department responsibility for an experienced candidate. The school provides support and has a strong commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Maths Department to cover maternity leave from February to December 2026 in a team-oriented school, graded as ‘Good’ in all categories (Ofsted March 2024).
There is the possibility of a TLR role in the form of 2nd in Department for a suitably experienced candidate.
Our Mathematics Department is a stimulating and exciting environment. It has grown in strength with the current team and we are looking for a passionate and forward-thinking individual who will help build on the success of the department.
The successful candidate will be someone with a passion for their subject, who has excellent subject knowledge, and who will inspire and actively assist in the further development of Mathematics within the school.
