A specialist education provider in Pepperstock seeks a passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join the founding team at a new school for children with Autism Spectrum Conditions and complex needs. We’re looking for a passionate, experienced HLTA to join the founding team at our brand‑new Options Autism School – Claystone School in Luton.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to help shape the culture, values, and learning environment of a brand‑new setting. Claystone School will support 48 pupils aged 4‑11 with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and complex needs, offering a nurturing and personalised education experience from day one.
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will be a key part of our classroom and school community, helping deliver engaging learning and supporting the emotional and academic development of our pupils. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure all pupils achieve their potential in a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.

Claystone School – a brand‑new specialist school in Luton for autistic children aged 4‑11, recently opened in January 2025. Situated in Pepperstock, Luton, Claystone School is a small, independent setting supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and a range of additional learning difficulties. We provide a nurturing environment where each child’s unique strengths and contributions are recognised and celebrated, helping them reach their full potential.
For over 19 years Options Autism have provided care and education to pupils, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties.
