A personal care services provider is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to support a 12-year-old boy in Norwich. The role involves providing companionship, assistance with personal care, and engaging in community activities. The ideal candidate will be patient, quick-witted, and possess a full UK Driving licence. The pay is £15 per hour for up to 3 hours a week, bringing essential support and companionship to improve the boy’s quality of life.

Provide support and companionship for a 12-year-old boy.
Companionship: Stay at the family home when supervision is required.
Going out in the local community: Trips to the local swimming pool, trampoline park, and playground.
Personal care: Change of nappies when required.
The young boy likes shapes, numbers, his iPad and swimming; he can be unpredictable and experiences meltdowns, so patience and quick-wittedness are key. He does not like loud noises, animals or crowded places. 2:1 support will be provided, so you will be working alongside another personal assistant when out in the community.
