Pay Rate Limited/Umbrella:£37.54 per hour
Employment Type:Temporary (12 weeks, with potential for extension)
Hours:Full-time, 37 hours per week

Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting on behalf of it’s client at Conwyfor anexperienced Social Workerto join theirMulti-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)within theChildren, Families and Safeguarding Service. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Social Worker withChild Protection (CP)andSection 47 (S47) experience to contribute to a highly dynamic and responsive front-line service during a period of increased demand.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Provide high-quality duty social work services at the MASH front door referral point.

  • Support the Team Manager with the triage and assessment of referrals.

  • Make informed decisions at the entry point to services, including signposting and short-term interventions.

  • Ensure all work complies with theSocial Services and Wellbeing Act (2014)andAll Wales Safeguarding Procedures.

  • Maintain strong multi-agency relationships to promote effective safeguarding outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have,

  • Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of3 years post-qualifying experience.

  • Registered with Social Care Wales.

  • Strong knowledge and experience inChild Protection and S47 investigations.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-working skills.

  • Comfortable using relevant technology and case management systems.

  • Must live locally or within acommutable distanceof Colwyn Bay, as this is anoffice-based role.
