Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Early Intervention and Family Support Service Officer to help develop and maintain high-quality support services
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver holistic and responsive services to children, young people, and their families
  • Provide cover for absent colleagues to ensure continuity of care and service delivery
  • Manage your own caseload, contribute to care planning, and maintain high standards in line with safeguarding principles
  • Make timely and appropriate referrals to child protection services where necessary
  • Prepare and present clear, concise reports for a range of professional audiences
  • Participate in relevant meetings, discussions, and case conferences to support collaborative working
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date family files, ensuring information is recorded and shared appropriately
  • Act as a role model to families and colleagues, handling sensitive issues with professionalism and care
  • Keep up to date with current legislation and procedures, sharing key updates with the wider team
  • Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion throughout the service
  • Adhere to all relevant health and safety policies and procedures
