Job summary
A support service for individuals with disabilities is looking for a compassionate caregiver to assist a young man with Muscular Dystrophy in Dorchester, England. Responsibilities include providing personal care, supporting daily activities, and assisting with social events. A valid driving license is required, and both part-time and full-time hours are available. Competitive pay at £13.50 per hour and 28 days of holiday (pro rata) with the potential for a DBS check.

Responsibilities
- Provide all aspects of personal care.
- Support with daily living activities including bed transfers.
- Assist with food and drink preparation.

- Cover for colleagues when needed.

- To attend Dr / hospital appointments as and when required
- You will also be required to cover for colleagues on leave and sickness, and on occasions work extra hours, agreed in advance
- To assist to attend social events, such as meeting friends, day trips, and evening trips

- Responsible, reliable, and trustworthy
- Respectful of dignity and independence
- Good communication skills and social skills
- Punctual, and flexible
- Suitable for a casual working environment but always remaining professional.
Car owner with driving licence is essential.
Hours: Part or full time hours available, and can be negotiated.
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Holidays: 28 days per year (pro rata) including Bank holidays
You must be able to prove the right to work in the UK. No sponsorships are available.
