Our client, a leading local engineering company, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for career progression.

1. Collaborate with the Engineering Team to develop project plans and budgets, ensuring milestones are met.
2. Source suppliers based on bill of materials and engineering specifications, liaising with design engineers for alternatives or variations.
3. Procure equipment in compliance with budget and company procedures.
4. Distribute documentation and drawings to subcontractors, ensuring correct revisions for fabrication or assembly.
5. Visit subcontractors' premises to coordinate and review production.
6. Coordinate with the design team to ensure specifications are met and conduct quality checks before handover.
7. Ensure FAT tests and quality checks are performed, documented, and snags are cleared prior to product shipment.
8. Coordinate site preparation activities including surveys, haulage, safety documentation, lifting, and client handover.
9. Manage project schedules, documentation, and communication with clients and project stakeholders.
10. Handle contract management tasks, including responding to compensation events and notices.

• Engineering qualification with relevant experience.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks / AutoCAD and project experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel across the UK.
