The Role

n exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading specialist contractor to support the delivery of a major Demolition and Enabling Works project in Central London. This is a key position offering excellent exposure to complex engineering challenges on one of the capital’s landmark developments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and review of method statements, risk assessments, and work packages.
  • Support the coordination of temporary works and structural sequencing.
  • Provide technical input during pre-construction and delivery phases.
  • Monitor and record site progress, ensuring works are carried out to design and quality standards.
  • Liaise with the design team, subcontractors, and site management to resolve technical issues.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all HSEQ requirements.
About You
  • Previous experience in demolition, civil engineering, or complex enabling works.
  • Strong technical understanding of demolition methodologies, structural sequencing, and temporary works.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team on large urban projects.
