A leading construction firm in the United Kingdom is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to oversee and manage multiple projects effectively. This role involves full commercial responsibility, financial management, and team leadership. The successful candidate will lead the preparation of project forecasts and will ensure compliance with commercial processes. The Managing Quantity Surveyor (MQS) is a senior leadership role within Winvic, marking a critical transition from single-project delivery to strategic commercial and team management across multiple projects. The MQS is accountable for the successful commercial performance and delivery of allocated projects through effective leadership and management of a dedicated site-based commercial team and close liaison with other disciplines such as Design and Operations. The MQS holds dual accountability for (1) Project Performance – ensuring the commercial and contractual health of a project, accurate robust reporting, and contractual protection, and (2) Team Management – managing, developing and monitoring team performance to deliver projects in line with Winvic core values.
