An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist – Mental Health based at Woodland View Hospital.

Key duties as part of this role will include:

• Providing highly specialised advice in all pharmaceutical matters relating to the care of individual patients.
• Providing a specialist clinical pharmacy service within the mental health directorate including in Woodland View Hospital and Community Mental Health Settings.
• Contributing to the wider development and improvement of pharmaceutical services.
• Accountable for the safe and cost-effective use of medicines within their areas of practice.

• RPS Post-Registration Foundation Pharmacist Credentialing (or demonstrable evidence of clinical knowledge equivalent to that level)
• Required to demonstrate a highly specialised level of clinical pharmacy knowledge skills, clinical reasoning and judgement
• Good knowledge, awareness and understanding of relevant professional and clinical standards and guidelines
• Experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team

37 hours per week Monday - Friday 0830am-1630pm. Weekend working is undertaken in accordance with departmental rotas.

A UK car licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
