A leading workforce solutions provider based in Glasgow is seeking an entrepreneurial Sales Director to drive market share and develop a comprehensive sales strategy. This role requires excellent communication skills and a proven sales track record. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sustainable growth and implementing effective sales plans. Attractive compensation package includes a base salary of up to £75,000 plus significant incentives based on performance. The position involves frequent travel across the UK.

Based: Glasgow HQ, with frequent travel UK-wide
Package: Base salary up to £75,000, car allowance of £7,200 pa, 8% pension (rising to 10% with service), health insurance (inc spouse), life assurance (twice salary), annual bonus of 25% of base salary, entry into a contractual long-term incentive plan offering a significant six-figure incentive for achieving Group targets over our two 4-year plans to 2030
They are a progressive specialist provider of security, labour and facilities services to business and industry. This role will be based at their Glasgow office, with frequent travel across the UK.
They are growing quickly and have ambitious plans to achieve a turnover of £6m per annum by 2026, from their current base of £1.6m. They plan to do this by growing their support workforce deployments whilst simultaneously building their integrated service opportunities.

Our clients are seeking an entrepreneurial and determined Sales Director to drive their market share across new sectors, someone with an entrepreneurial vision, capable of developing and delivering a sales strategy that will create a legacy for the business and the individual. An ability to think strategically, create the opportunity and execute the sale will be viewed positively in the process. Working closely with General Manager the role will report directly to Shareholders and be responsible for driving sales growth in line with the business planning. This will be very much an active selling position with only one direct report BDM who will be tasked to focus on building the current construction security business. The successful candidate must be strong minded, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with customers. You should also have a track record of success in a sales environment, as well as an ability to grasp a good understanding of new marketplaces.
The role is very much leading what is a startup business however for the right person, this is a great opportunity to put their own stamp on things. An unyielding focus and energy will be needed to gain traction in what will essentially be a start up part of the business. The candidate should view this as once in a lifetime opportunity and should understand that this is a career-defining role but with this total commitment is required. Essentially the candidate will be a fully motivated entrepreneur and have a “it's my business” attitude.
There should be no doubt that this is a demanding role in a very fast-paced business with aggressive plans for growth. A huge amount will be asked of you, but they recognise that this requires an appropriate reward, so we are complementing the base package with a contractual uncapped long-term incentive plan worth in excess £100,000 for achieving our ambitious, but achievable, 4 yr growth ambitions. As well as earning potential there will be career progression should targets be.
