A leading recruitment firm is seeking an Assistant Commercial Manager for a major infrastructure project in London. This hybrid role involves post-contract commercial administration and offers significant ownership of project sections. Ideal candidates will have NEC3/NEC4 contract experience and a background in contract management. Join us to be part of the UK's largest infrastructure initiative.
Qualifications
- Experience with NEC3 / NEC4 contracts is essential.
- Prior experience with infrastructure projects is advantageous.
- Strong experience in Contract Management.
Responsabilités
- Manage post-contract commercial delivery of NEC civils packages.
- Oversee commercial administration tasks including compensation events.
- Handle applications for payment and dispute resolution.

Are you a Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager with experience of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts and interested in an opportunity to work on the UK's largest Infrastructure Project?
This is a hybrid working position, with 2 days working from home and 3 days from your choice of site/office in London.
- As an Assistant Commercial Manager, you'll be instrumental in the post-contract commercial delivery of major, high-value NEC civils packages.
- Your responsibilities will predominantly include effective post-contract commercial administration, not limited to:
- Compensation events
- Applications for payment
- Dispute resolution
- Commercial reporting
- This role is assistant in name only, and it actually offers full commercial management ownership of a section of the project.
- Experience with NEC3 / NEC4 contracts
- Post-contract administration experience - advantageous but not essential
- Prior experience with infrastructure, rail, highways, utilities, civil engineering or similar project types
- Strong experience with Contract Management generally, including use of CMS (such as CEMAR)
