Join the Greater Manchester Combined Authority's (GMCA) Low Carbon team as a Project Manager (Level 3) and take a leading role in one of the UK's most ambitious regional responses to the climate emergency. This is more than just a project management role - it's an opportunity to directly influence the region's transition to a carbon-neutral economy by 2038.

As part of a dynamic and mission-driven team, you'll manage the delivery of complex energy and decarbonisation projects, with a key focus on schools decarbonisation programme – a flagship initiative helping schools across Greater Manchester become more sustainable, resilient, and cost-effective. You'll also provide leadership within the team, shaping work plans, mentoring junior colleagues, and supporting the wider public sector to deliver innovative, scalable low-carbon solutions.

We're looking for someone with strong technical and commercial awareness of the energy and built environment sectors, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and a drive to deliver real-world impact.
