We are currently seeking a Project Management Assistant join our GBR Design team.
The establishment of Great British Railways is the biggest transformation of the rail industry in the last 25 years. The GBR Design Programme team is at the forefront of this transformation, driving the design of the operating model for Great British Railways which will create a simpler, more integrated system that delivers better outcomes for passengers, freight customers, taxpayers and the wider industry. Being part of this team is a unique opportunity to work across the rail sector at the forefront of a once-in-a-generation transformation of the railway.
As a Project Management Assistant within the GBR Design Programme, you'll play a pivotal role within the team. You'll help keep the design team on track by coordinating activities, preparing high quality materials for key meetings and decision-making forums, supporting reporting activities, and working with the Department for Transport and other industry partners to align requirements. You'll also contribute to stakeholder engagement, supporting effective communication and collaboration across the rail sector.
This is an exceptional opportunity to learn and develop core project and programme management skills while working alongside senior stakeholders across the sector. You'll be at the heart of the team shaping the future operating model for Great British Railways and driving change at a national scale.
This is a 24-month fixed term contract.
The role requires working in the office, based in London Waterloo station, for minimum of 3 days a week.
£28,000 to £32,000 per annum (plus a location allowance of £3,270), depending on skills and experience.
