Principal Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Female Physical Education Teacher with QTS to join a vibrant secondary school. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic PE specialist who is passionate about promoting health, fitness and positive wellbeing in young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3-KS4 (and KS5 if applicable).
  • Plan, prepare, and assess high-quality learning experiences.
  • Encourage participation, teamwork, and confidence through a variety of sports and activities.
  • Contribute to extracurricular programmes, clubs, and school sports events.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive and motivating environment for all students.
  • Uphold school policies and maintain excellent classroom discipline.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
  • Specialism in Physical Education.
  • Must be female due to supervision requirements in changing rooms (Equality Act Schedule 9 – Genuine Occupational Requirement).
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for sport and physical development.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
