You will be joining a privately owned practice, with offices operating in Newark, Manchester and London that employs around 90 staff. Across their 13-year history, this practice has managed to be placed in the top 10 Architects (Barbour index.). This is due to their huge long-term prospects, their tremendous landbank affiliation and their ability to retain repeat clients.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be working as an Architectural Technician within the Industrial sector, where you will be:

• Drafting and Designing: Create detailed drawings and plans for buildings using CAD software.
• Technical Support: Assist architects with technical details and specifications.
• Building Regulations: Ensure designs comply with building codes and regulations.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals.
• Site Visits: Inspect construction sites to monitor progress and ensure adherence to plans.
• Material Selection: Recommend appropriate materials and construction techniques.
• Problem Solving: Address technical issues that arise during the design and construction phases.

What you'll need to succeed
Preferred:

• Experience within the industrial sector.
• Client facing experience.
• Strong technical knowledge.
• AutoCAD and/or Revit expertise.
