Royal Mail P&FS are recruiting for Cleaning Operatives at Sawbridgeworth Delivery Office, Station Road, Sawbridgeworth. CM21 9JX

Pay: £12.60 per hour

Contract type: Permanent

Working hours: Part time, 3.45 hours per week, Monday to Friday. (45 minute shift – anytime between 10.30am and 1.45pm). As part of Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions you will work as the only cleaner on site, ensuring we continue to deliver the high standards of service our customers expect.

As a cleaner, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our spaces clean, safe, and welcoming. Your responsibilities will include a range of cleaning tasks, including:

• Mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Cleaning toilets, floors and offices
• Emptying bins and sanitising surfaces
• Litter picking within yard and car park areas

This is a hands‑on role that involves manual handling, but don’t worry—we’ll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, reliable, and self‑motivated
• Able to work independently and manage their own time
• Comfortable communicating with customers and managers
• Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
• Previous cleaning experience is a bonus, but not essential.
