What is the role?

This is a one-year apprenticeship programme in Mortgages and Financial Planning. Working alongside experienced administrators, you will gain insight into the mortgage life cycle and how we deliver excellent support to our clients. You will be part of a friendly and supportive team, with one day per week dedicated to studying towards a Level 3 qualification, while earning a salary and gaining real-world experience.

What you’ll do
  • You will gain a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification for your programme, spending one day a week studying with a dedicated trainer who will support you to succeed.
  • Take part in a year-long structured development programme to build the skills and confidence needed to thrive in your role; you’ll learn alongside a group of peers.
  • Learn the foundations of mortgage broking through hands-on learning and structured apprenticeship training.
  • Support the Mortgage Administration team with case overflow and administrative tasks such as data entry, chasing and processing invoices and completion checks.
  • Build confidence handling incoming enquiry phone calls and emails.
  • Play an active role in chasing solicitors by telephone and email.
  • Collaborate with brokers and support them in preparing mortgage documents.
  • Participate in data projects to help improve daily team operations.
What we’re looking for
  • No experience in insurance is required; we’ll teach you everything you need to know.
  • Final year sixth form/college students or recent college leavers.
  • GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above.
  • Confident communicators who thrive on working with others.
  • Good attention to detail and written communication.
  • Resilient individuals who are organised and can manage multiple projects.
  • Confident taking phone calls with clients at all levels and delivering good customer service.

  • Pre-recorded video interview – record your answers to a few questions in your own time.
  • Assessment centre – an in-person day at a nearby office with group activities. Travel costs for this day are covered.
