Job summary
A local care service provider in Birkenhead is looking for a Female PA to assist a couple with cerebral palsy. Responsibilities include personal care and support for daily living tasks. Candidates should be comfortable around dogs and preferably hold a driving license. This role offers an hourly rate of £12.60.
Qualifications
- Experience in personal care with wheelchair-bound individuals.
- Ability to assist with washing and dressing.
- Preference for candidates with a driving license.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care for both clients.
- Assist clients with daily activities including getting in and out of bed.
- Support clients to lead comfortable and dignified lives.
Skills
Female PA is required for a couple who both suffer with Cerebral Palsy and are wheelchair bound, requiring a PA to join their small team of personal assistants.
- Personal Care for both husband and wife, meal preparation, household tasks. Assisting with washing and dressing.
- Assisting the clients to get into bed in the evening and getting up in the morning.
- Support the clients to live their lives to the fullest with comfort and dignity.
- Driving would be advantageous as the couple have a mobility car which they would like to use to access shopping centres.
- The clients have a couple of dogs at the property; candidates would need to be okay being around dogs.
- Female candidate as specified.
- Suprapubic catheter care is required.
- Experience with personal care and daily living tasks.
- Preference for driving; full driving license is advantageous.
- Comfort around dogs.
Hourly rate - £12.60
