A Day in the Life of a Care Assistant

As a home carer, you’ll support clients in their own homes, helping them stay independent and safe. You’ll provide a mix of companionship, practical support, and personal care, tailored to each person’s needs. No two days are the same – and every visit matters.

Your responsibilities might include
  • Offering friendly companionship and conversation
  • Supporting with personal care, such as washing, dressing, and toileting
  • Helping with meal preparation, light housework, and medication reminders

Who We’re Looking For
  • You’re a naturally caring person who enjoys helping others
  • You have good English communication skills
  • You hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a car (essential)
  • You have the right to work in the UK
  • You’re able to commit to working every other weekend
  • Experience isn’t necessary – just a great attitude and a willingness to learn
