Overview

A Vacancy at Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust.

As we continue to expand and develop as a leading Trauma Centre, we are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a dynamic environment and play a crucial role in delivering care to our complex patient caseload. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Emergency Nurse who can rise to the challenges of this fast-paced setting, providing both clinical and managerial leadership. Responsibilities
  • Lead a designated clinical area (majors, minors and resus) and take on aspects of managerial responsibility.
  • Demonstrate drive, commitment and a strong sense of leadership to deliver excellent patient-centred care.
  • Maintain proven clinical ability in A&E with substantial experience at Band 5 or above; manage all aspects of the ED on a daily basis, including an understanding of flow and capacity; lead the team to achieve Trust goals.
  • Evidence achievements and plans to develop areas of practice through a professional portfolio to be scrutinised as part of the selection process.
Qualifications
  • Current experience in emergency care, with significant ED experience at Band 5 or above.
  • First level degree.
  • Mentorship qualification and TNCC or ATNC provider status (ideally).
