This national VAT team is seeking a commercially astute and technically proficient VAT Assistant Manager to join their Reading office. Unlike many competitors who are shrinking their VAT teams in 2024, this team has experienced growth and is looking for someone eager to move into client advisory roles.

As the VAT Assistant Manager, you will provide advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients, including owner-managed businesses, international companies, charities, and property clients. You will work closely with the Manager and Senior Manager to advise on a broad range of VAT issues.

This role presents a unique opportunity for an experienced VAT Assistant Manager seeking greater autonomy and independence, while still benefiting from the support of a wider team. It is also suitable for a VAT Tax Senior aiming to progress to the next level. The ideal candidate will be ambitious and eager to advance their career.
