A local charity organization in Macclesfield is seeking a dedicated individual to assist in managing retail shops. You will support volunteer engagement and ensure effective shop operations, handling tasks from stock management to public relations. Ideal candidates will have experience in retail or volunteer settings and will be comfortable working flexible hours, including weekends. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the charitable mission and community outreach.
To assist our shop manager in the day to day running of Charity’s shops on Chestergate and Churchill Way in Macclesfield, ensuring efficient and effective management of volunteers, premises and stock to provide a high quality retail service. To ensure that all appropriate standards of security and health and safety are met.
The post holder will be expected to work 3 days per week as per shop rota, which may include Saturdays and Sundays. Some flexibility in working hours will be required from time to time under the T.O.I.L system. The post holder will be expected to travel for training purposes and occasionally to collect donations and make deliveries using the Windyway Trust Van. The annual leave entitlement for full time staff is 28 days. Annual leave for part time staff is pro-rated.
