A leading actuarial recruitment firm is seeking a qualified non-life actuary with strong coding skills in R or Python to join a major insurer in London. The role involves carrying out London market case pricing and leading projects in developing machine learning-based models to support pricing functions. Ideal candidates should have significant experience in London Market pricing and a background in developing rating tools.
Qualifications
- Qualified or part-qualified non-life actuary.
- Experience in developing and implementing rating tools.
- Demonstrable experience in working with underwriters.

This is an exceptional opportunity for somebody with London Market pricing exposure to carry out London market case pricing, rate reviews and performance deep dives.
Being the pricing lead on various cross-functional projects, you will also develop and implement machine learning-based models to support business needs.
The successful candidate will have experience in developing and implementing rating tools with experience carrying out rate reviews.
You will also possess demonstrable experience of working closely with underwriters and other stakeholders such as Finance and Claims.
