A charitable organization is seeking a Registered Manager for a new children's home in Swindon. This role involves leading a dedicated team to provide high-quality care for local children. Responsibilities include delivering trauma-informed care, ensuring a stable environment, and working collaboratively with families and professionals. Candidates should have experience with children and a relevant qualification. The position offers a salary of £45,000-£50,000 and a welcome bonus.
Every child deserves a loving home – help them to make this happen.
There are not enough homes for children and, as a result, many are sent to live far from anyone they know, often in places they do not recognize. This issue is exacerbated by the fact that 85% of children’s homes in England are private, for‑profit providers.
To address this, the Department for Education, alongside local authorities, is encouraging not‑for‑profit providers to open children’s homes in communities where there is genuine need.
They believe they can make a difference.
Our client, in partnership with Swindon Borough Council, is opening a new children’s home for two local children.
