A leading international law firm in Edinburgh is seeking an experienced EU/Competition and Trade lawyer. The role involves advising on public procurement and State Aid, requiring strong communication and drafting skills. Candidates should be qualified solicitors with around 3 years of experience. Exceptional role for an EU/Competition and Trade lawyer to join an award-winning team at a leading international law firm, based in their offices in Edinburgh.
The EU/ Competition and Trade team consists of over 20 competition lawyers and is part of a wider international Competition Group consisting of more than 180 competition lawyers across the globe.
The team advises on a broad range of matters that include:
The team is looking to expand its offering in Edinburgh, with a particular focus on public procurement and State Aid work. The team works with clients across a range of sectors, including the public sector and utilities, construction and infastructure, lifesciences, technology and media and financial services with clients being based in Scotland, the rest of the UK and internationally. The role is varied and will also involve advising on:
