Overview

Litigation Solicitor • Belfast • 2-6+ years PQE • £30,000-£40,000

Your new company: Signatus are recruiting a litigation solicitor on behalf of a specialist firm of Plaintiff Personal Injury solicitors, based in Belfast. Our clients are considered experts in their field and this represents an excellent opportunity to join their team in a permanent role.

Your new role

You will join a medium sized specialist team of litigation solicitors who have developed a reputable practice over the years. As a solicitor with ideally 2 years PQE in a PI based role, you will have strong foundation experience in handling a range of matters (Personal injury, RTA/Trips/slips/OL/EL and ideally but not essential, some medical negligence matters) at all stages of the litigation process, throughout both county court and high court. You will assist on or lead in complex, challenging caseloads depending on your expertise and will manage your own caseload with minimal partner supervision.You should be familiar with case management systems to manage your caseload effectively, be able to work to tight deadlines and possess a strong sense of client care.

What is my reward?

You will receive a rewarding salary based on your PQE level of circa £30,000 - £40,000+ p.a. and standard company benefits. Although mainly office based int he city centre, you will have the ability to work from home also when required.

What you will need to be successful?

Essential

• A qualified solicitor in NI
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar litigation role would be ideal
• Ideally, Plaintiff based experience and any experience in defence matters would also be considered
