Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) United Kingdom (On-site)
Join Telent's Engineering Team to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure.
Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will conduct planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between early shifts (6am-6pm) and late shifts (12pm-12am).
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
- Attending planned and remedial maintenance tasks
- Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
- Using field IT equipment for maintenance data
- Liaising with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions
Ideal candidate profile:
This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning, especially those with experience in similar roles or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.
Key requirements:
- CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
- Understanding of O365 and IT awareness
- Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Availability to work 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between early and late shifts
