Job Description:

Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) United Kingdom (On-site)

Join Telent's Engineering Team to innovate and develop solutions, working alongside technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team maintaining critical infrastructure nationwide.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will conduct planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
  • Attending planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks
  • Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
  • Using field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
  • Liaising with Telent Service Centre for tasking and updates

Candidate profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who can multitask and enjoy learning. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Network Rail health & safety procedures is beneficial.

Key requirements:

  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
  • Understanding of O365 and IT awareness
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Availability for 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates
